UWIC 16 v FLEUR DE LYS 17

In an unusually inept performance, UWIC lost out to bottom of the table Fleur de Lys.The visitors to Cyncoed played a basic game and the students were unable to develop moves in the face of strong tackling. More variation is needed in attack and a purposeful, wide, attacking game has to be developed if UWIC are to prosper in this league.

Full back, Tom Hancock, contributed 11 points from two penalties and a try and UWIC’s other score came from wing, John Webbe which put the students back in contention but they, in all honesty, didn’t deserve to win.
